HOW DOES IT WORK?

For your convenience, all advisement and communication between you and the staff at College and Career Counseling Services Online (CCCS-Online) will be done online via our website and e-mail.  



HOW DO I START RECEIVING SERVICES?

The first thing you and your parents will do is register and request services from CCCS-Online. This is accomplished by completing and then submitting the registration form found on the Registration page. This will give us your permission to be your Academic Advisor. 

(Students having reached the age of 18 will not be required to have parents involved in the registration process. A free monthly newsletter will be e-mailed to all registrants.)


WHAT SERVICE WILL I START WITH? 

Once we have permission to be your academic advisor, you will be given the opportunity to enroll in the Individualized Academic Evaluation and Educational Plan serviceAfter enrolling in this service, you will receive an e-mail requesting you to complete an informal questionnaire, provide us with your grade history or transcript and complete an online interest and skill survey.



WHAT WILL I RECEIVE FROM COLLEGE & CAREER COUNSELING SERVICES?

Once you have completed the informal questionnaire, supplied us with your grade history or transcript and have completed the online interest and skill survey, you will receive an Individualized Academic Evaluation & Educational Plan



WHAT ARE THE ENROLLMENT FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE INDIVIDUALIZED ACADEMIC EVALUATION & EDUCATIONAL PLAN SERVICE?

The Individualized Academic Evaluation & Educational Plan Service is comprehensive, grade level appropriate and consists of:

Students Entering their Freshman Year 
*  A critical review of your middle school transcript
*  An in depth analysis and interpretation of your interest and skill survey
*  A review of your future goals, interests, skills, values and passions
*  A list of courses, grades, test scores and activities that most post secondary educational institutions are looking for
*  A calendar of activities that freshmen should consider for post secondary educational planning
*  A customized 4 year educational plan with recommended courses and extracurricular activities suggestion 

Enrollment Fee $150


Students Entering their Sophomore Year
*  A critical review of your freshman transcript, GPA, class rank, and selected courses
*  An in depth analysis and interpretation of your interest and skill survey
*  A list of post-secondary institutions student is interested in researching 
*  A review of your future goals, interests, skills, values and passions
*  A list of courses, grades, test scores and activities that post secondary educational institutions are looking for
*  A customized high school educational plan to either maintain or improve current level of performance
*  An organized ACT/SAT testing schedule for future use
*  A calendar of activities that sophomores should consider for post secondary educational planning
*  An extracurricular activities and achievements profile

Enrollment Fee $150


Students Entering their Junior Year
*  A critical review of your current transcript, GPA, class rank, test scores and selected courses
*  An in depth analysis and interpretation of your interest and skill survey
*  A review of your educational and career goals, interests, skills, values and passions
*  A list of post-secondary institutions to which the student researched, visited in person or via a virtual tour and may apply to
*  A review of courses, grades, test scores and activities that most post secondary educational institutions are looking for
*  A customized high school educational plan to either maintain or improve current level of performance
*  A list of test preparation strategies and resources to help prepare you for upcoming standardized testing
*  An updated and revised ACT/SAT testing schedule for junior year
*  A list of suggestions on approaching teachers for recommendations for the post secondary and employment application process
*  A calendar of activities that juniors should consider for post secondary educational planning
*  A refinement of your extracurricular activities and achievements profile

Enrollment Fee $150


Students Entering their Senior Year
*  A critical review of your current transcript, GPA, class rank, test scores, and selected courses
*  An in depth analysis and interpretation of your interest and skill survey
*  A review of your educational and career goals, interests, skills, values and passions
*  A finalized list of post-secondary institutions to which the student will be applying
*  An overall strategy for the college application process
*  A review and constructive feedback to strengthen student's applications
*  A resource for college essay ideas 
*  A resource with essay editing suggestions
*  A review of courses, grades, test scores and activities that most post secondary educational institutions are looking for
*  A customized high school educational plan to either maintain or improve current level of performance
*  A list of test preparation strategies and resources that may help to improve standardized test scores
*  An updated and revised ACT/SAT testing schedule for senior year
*  A list of teachers the student will ask for personal recommendations
*  A resource for creating a polished resume for interviews and for inclusion with applications
*  A review of interview strategies, customary interview questions and successful responses
*  A refinement of your extracurricular activities and achievements profile
*  A resource for controlling post-secondary educational costs and applying for scholarships, grants and loans
*  A resource for maneuvering the financial aid process and strategies for completing the FAFSA
*  A calendar of activities that seniors should consider for post secondary educational planning
*  A resource for developing a decision and follow-up strategy once you receive responses from the schools to which you applied

Enrollment Fee $200

Additional Advisement Services on a Monthly Basis
* Students may purchase additional advisement services via the Internet with an academic advisor 10 times throughout the month 
after enrolling for their grade specific Individualized Academic Evaluation & Planning Service.

Additional advisement service Fee $100 per month or $500 for 10 months.
